Louise H. Ford
Garden City, S.C. - Louise Hershey Ford, age 91, of Jensen's, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Conway Medical Center. Born in Barren Hill, she was a daughter of the late J. Witmer and Hannah Hershey. Mrs. Ford was retired from Penn State with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Pinochle Club; the St. Michael Widow's Group; and was a descendent of Milton Hershey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester W. Ford; a son, Neil Ford; and a daughter, Kimberly Ford. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lynne Hendricks-Wilson and Jamaine Wilson, of Myrtle Beach; twin grandsons, Nick and Lee Armstrong; a granddaughter, Kelli Gelwicks; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Montasse Armstrong and Molly Concannon; and a sister, Marian McMahon. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
