Andrew/s obituary: FATAL ACCIDENT -- we learn by letter, says the Lewistown Gazette, that a sad accident occurred near Boalsburg, Centre County, on Saturday, 12th inst. -- Mr. John R. Andrew [sic] was out on a hunting excursion with a number of others, and while rising from a log on which he had been resting, the lock of his rifle caught at a rock, causing it discharge, by which he was instantly killed -- the ball passing through his heart. He was a member of the I.O.O.F., the Penn's Valley Cadets, and the Sons of Temperance.
